Many SMEs like ours practice a ‘silent CSR’, by implementing policies and setting up CSR measures without being fully aware of what we are doing. Making them visible and communicating has a positive impact on our notoriety, and although this is good in terms of our image, the real aim is to achieve a greater economic, social and environmental balance at EVASA.
Becoming fully aware of this and analysing the positive impact these actions have on our company and society in general will enable to us to set a series of objectives and operate effectively in the three main areas of CSR.
- Economic: Mid-term results not only depend on technical aspects; the balance improves when we also consider human aspects, which is why good practices play a pivotal role in our corporate strategy. CSR actions improve our image in our clients’ minds, as well as our market reputation and competitive position generating a motivating element for the people that make up EVASA’s human capital as well as acting as sales enhancer.
- Environmental: Our main contribution to securing a more sustainable future for everyone is the incorporation of our product into PV panels or architectural glass, in combination with many other environmentally-friendly practices.
- Social: Here at EVASA we do not have the ability to influence our surroundings, but we do take part in initiatives lead by major companies, professional associations or NGOs. In this sense, we work with organizations and partners in Spain and the rest of the world in order to develop responsible corporate working practices.
